What is some green technology that can be used with natural disasters?

For Model United Nations, my topic is how to reduce the impact of natural disasters and get aid to the nations quickly, and also how to prevent the risks of natural disasters in the first place. Our directors want us to incorporate green technology into our solution, so what are some things we can incorporate? Thanks. What is some green technology that can be used with natural disasters?

Preventing natural disasters require to build on land that is sustainable for heavier building and human traffic. Many large cities lay on fault lines which cause Earthquakes. Making sure you have studied the land extensively can cut down the chance of natural disasters such as fire, flood or earthquakes.

Natural disaster emergencies can be more "green" by having all emergency vehicles run on vegetable oil, or have them all be electric. Solar power can be used to facilitate hospital equipment for the sick and injured.

I don't know. I'm out of ideas...hahaWhat is some green technology that can be used with natural disasters?
Natural disasters are just that natural.

Why bother doing anything they tend to only affect countries that are over populated anyway. sending aid to them is merely ensuring that they never do anything to help them selves.
