What are good high school choices in NYC?

This year, my family is moving to brooklyn and we haven't chosen a school yet. I have 2 kids. Ine is starting 9th in september and the other will be starting 11th. One of them likes technology and the other likes art (drawing, painting, etc.). I need a public school that they both will like. The size doesnt matter and I want it to be easy to get into but still a good school. Also do we have to go to a nyc department of education office to register or something? What are good high school choices in NYC?
Here's a link for newcomers to NYC. Look under High School:

http://schools.nyc.gov/ChoicesEnrollment鈥?/a>

Note the items you have to bring to the enrollment office. Start the process as soon as you have moved in and have proof of address because there won't be many spots in the better high schools. Know that siblings do not necessarily go to the same high school since they have different interests and many schools are themed. Also, if you plan for the 9th grader to take the specialized high school test, you need to know what to do. For example if the 9th grader likes tech, then he/she may want to try for Brooklyn Tech. If the 9th grader is the one that likes art, he/she may want to try for LaGuardia. The 11th grader is ineligible to take the specialized exam because the last entry point is 10th grade. The 11th grader will have to enter a non-specialized school. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "easy to get into". You mean easy to travel to, like within walking distance, or did you mean easy to get accepted by the school. If you mean easy to get accepted into the school then you can forego the specialized schools.
