What is your greatest concern with technology today?

WIth an ever increasing market for technology, what risks are you concerned with in regards to the technology you use everyday? What is your greatest concern with technology today?
That we have the ability to destroy ourselves and that many people, especially rulers are irrational.

First, with more and more countries having nuclear bombs there is a growing danger of them being used by some country other than just the USA. Possibly a mass exchange killing hundreds of millions, if not billions.

Two, we now have the ability through genetic engineering to develop killer bacteria and viruses that could result in a world wide plague in which billions would die. What is your greatest concern with technology today?
Carpal tunnel. What is your greatest concern with technology today?
We made the machines to be slaves for us. Contextualy some people are slaves to machines though.

Also, technology has benefits and consequences eitherway the benefits do outweight the consquences but only up to a limited point though.
Technology has become such a 'norm' that we re relying on it rather than thinking for ourselves. It probably is stunting childrens development. When I was young, my parents would read to me, nowadays with technology young children are just propped in front of the TV or given a video game to play which usually requires not thought and does not help them build any cognitive skills. Children and adults alike are relying on technological products to do their job for them. Like calculators and computers, spell check and alike, making less thinking involved for the individual. So in reality technology can possibly be making humans less smart, when they rely on machines and other technological advances to do their thinking for them. It has made people more lazy and more likely to look for the easy way out of things. (for example, most people will take an elevator up ONE floor when given the choice over walking up ONE flight of stairs). We are slowly doing less and less for ourselves and relying on other things to do EVERYTHING for us!
